Docs & Help

Everything you need to run your tailoring or fashion business on ZeDaq — client CRM, orders, measurements, invoicing, and Virtual Try-On, on web and mobile.

Getting started

Sign up for a free trial — no card required. The trial lets you test Virtual Try-On rendering immediately; Tailor Tools (clients, orders, measurements, invoicing) unlocks once you’re on the Free plan or above. Your trial converts to the Free plan automatically as soon as it ends — or you can switch to Free right away from Billing if you want CRM access sooner — so nothing you’ve set up is ever at risk of disappearing.

Clients

Every client gets a profile with their contact info, delivery address, fit preferences, order history, and measurement history in one place. Add a client manually, or one gets created automatically the first time you send them a measurement link.

Orders & delivery calendar

Track every order from measuring through delivery — status, due date, amount charged, and deposit collected. The calendar view shows what’s due when, so nothing slips.

Measurements

Two ways to capture a client’s measurements:

  • Send a link — the client opens it on their own phone, takes two guided photos, and their measurements land in their profile automatically. No app install, no account for them.
  • Enter manually— for measurements you’ve taken the traditional way, or fields a photo can’t capture (like armhole or bust span).

Measurement accuracy from photos varies by field — lengths (shoulder, sleeve, inseam) are the most reliable since they come from direct body-landmark distances; circumferences (chest, waist, hips) can shift with loose clothing. Always spot-check against a tape measure for a client’s first order.

Invoicing

Generate an invoice with your own bank details and logo, then send it straight to a client via WhatsApp or email in one tap. Track deposits separately from the full amount so you always know what’s outstanding.

Virtual Try-On

The same account also powers ZeDaq’s Virtual Try-On widget for shoppers on your storefront — a separate feature from client measurements, embedded directly on your product pages so shoppers can preview a garment before buying. See the Ecommerce Store page for setup details.

Billing & plans

Every plan includes the full CRM — clients, orders, calendar, measurements, and invoicing — plus Virtual Try-On. Higher plans raise your monthly usage caps and unlock your logo on invoices and advanced render quality. See Pricing for the current tiers and terms.

You can change plans from either the web dashboard or the mobile app — changes made on one show up immediately on the other, since it’s the same account.

Mobile app

The ZeDaq for Business app carries the same clients, orders, measurements, and invoicing as the web dashboard — sign in with your existing account, nothing extra to set up. A few things are mobile-only or work a little differently:

  • In-person measurement capture using your phone’s camera (in addition to sending a link).
  • Native subscription purchases and plan changes through the App Store or Play Store.
  • Restore purchases — if you reinstall the app or sign in on a new device, use this to reconnect a subscription you already paid for through that store account.

Frequently asked

Do I need both the web dashboard and the mobile app?

No — everything works from either one, on the same account. Most tailors use the web dashboard at a desk and the mobile app on the go; some use just one or the other.

Does a client need to install anything to send me their measurements?

No. You send them a link (via WhatsApp or email, one tap from the app), they open it in their own phone's browser, and it walks them through two quick photos. Nothing to install, no account for them to create.

Are my clients' measurement photos stored anywhere?

No — the photos are measured entirely on the client's own device and are never uploaded or stored. Only the resulting numbers (chest, waist, height, and so on) are saved to their record.

I subscribed on the web — can I manage billing from the app, or do I have to go back to a browser?

You can upgrade, downgrade, or change your plan natively in the app. Payment method updates and viewing past invoices still open Stripe's secure portal in your browser, since that's where your card details actually live.

I'm on the app and want to subscribe for the first time — why does it look different from the web pricing page?

New subscriptions from the app go through Apple's or Google's in-app purchase system instead of Stripe, so pricing there follows their billing rules (for example, the 4-month plan isn't offered on iOS, since Apple doesn't support that billing interval). Your subscription works the same either way — it just bills through whichever store you started on.

What happens if I hit my monthly cap?

Try-on renders, measurements, and invoices each have their own monthly cap depending on your plan — once you hit one, that specific action pauses until your next billing cycle or you upgrade.

Can I delete a client and their data?

Yes, from their profile in either the web dashboard or the app. This removes their contact info, measurement history, and any stored reference data.
